Did you know a lack of proper nutrition plays a key role in most of us having joint pain as we get older? It's true, and there are 3 reasons why this happens...

First, not only do we eat processed foods that ruin much of the nutrition, but many of the foods we eat have chemicals and preservatives in them that actually hurt our bodies and slow down our repair processes, contributing to joint pain.

The second reason we lack proper nutrition is our foods don't have the nutrition in them they once did. As we continue to improve our farming techniques and harvest more food from the same soil, our soils are being depleted of vital minerals our bodies need. How does this affect our joints?

Our joints are constantly wearing down, but when we are young we don't feel it because our body is healthy and continually repairs itself, keeping our joints healthy. However, as we get older and don't have enough of the proper nutrients our body needs, our body can't repair itself as quickly, meaning as our joints wear down they don't fully heal. Over time, this creates pain that only increases the older we get.

There are three essential reasons our joints break down and hurt, and a lack of proper nutrition is key to all 3 of them.

The third reason our joints break down is free radical damage. As we age, the amount of free radicals in our body usually increases. Free radicals cause damage to our cells and tissues, and pot-mark our cartilage causing it to wear out even more.
